We use your application in our company for short consulting and update tasks.. Here are some suggestons..

1) Allow for "re-mail" of tracks (This is very important)
2) Allow for a fixed time instead of a time range. (sometimes you forget to turn it on and it is time consuming to "fake it")
3) Creation of "task list".. We frequently have to type in the exact same tasks.

Currently, only the Trak tag can be edited from the list views. I am sorry if the description was confusing (going back and reading it, I can see how it could be confusing). I have had this same feature request from several people, and I am planning to add it with the next patch release. Are there any other features that you would like to see added to TimeTrak? I would appreciate any feedback that you have

Am I missing something or is it not possible to go back and edit the times of a Track? I thought I could based on your description but I can't figure out how to do it.

How do you define noise? What is one person's noise is someone else's information goldmine. For example, I have had some terrific dinner/wine ideas from other people's dinner tweets. I have planned my Friday outings based on other people's tweets.

Somewhat unrelated, but one of the better posts I've read about long-term economic policy in a while.

Matt, I did not know you had your own website and interesting stories like this one. I want to do a blog like this but I have to spend my spare time wiping babies bottoms. Great job I love you.

BTW the auction wasn't MacBook Pro, it was just a MacBook :) If still want a MacBook Pro and you are ok with the old design there are some sweeps of the old MBPs for $1450. At least that was the cheapest what I found.

Good posts Matt!

Here is few more thought on software engineering. What do you think of them?

Martial art approach: when I was engaged to learn the sword the Master showed me 1 single cut and asked me to repeat it 10000 times. To able to solve big problems solve thousands of small problems.

Chess Grand Master approach. Chess Grand Masters knows about 15 000 chess table positions according to a book I've read years ago. This made me think how can I became a software grand master. Let's take the model of 1 table position is 1 unique problem I solve whatever simple as it is. If I would solve only 1 unique problem per day it would take over 41 years to master software engineering...

When in Rome, do as the Romans do: if you are developing to Linux use Linux as your main OS, if your developing to Windows use ... , Mac ... etc. Get to know, like, love your target.

Less is more. If you able to reuse your code is good, if you able to reuse somebody else code it's better (considering it's legal reuse), if your are able to solve a problem without writing a single line of code it's the best.
