About Me
My name is Matt Stockton. I am a Software Engineer based out of Milwaukee, WI and originally from Ann Arbor, MI (go blue!). I am passionate about software, technology, sports, and anything in life that is both challenging and interesting.
I’m starting this blog to channel my creative energies. I often find myself brainstorming new ideas involving the web / software / technology, and I like to share those ideas with my friends. However, I have yet to take those ideas beyond casual discussion. I am hoping that this blog will serve as a motivating factor to help me move beyond talking and make one or several of the ideas a reality.
On a personal level, I am:
- A graduate of the University of Michigan (Computer Science-Engineering 2004 – GO BLUE!)
- Happily married with two cats (I never knew I would like cats!)
- Enjoying the challenges of my job
- Recently completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois , Urbana-Champaign (2009) I2CS program
